Rebranding MIC! Should that start with the leadership rather than giving cosmetic changes to the party and the system, which had worked over the last 62 years. Punithan, I think that question by itself is self explanatory. Firstly let me ask, why do we need to rebrand? The answer is because we lost badly at the March general elections. So did MCA, Gerakan, Umno. Did they opt to rebrand? No, they choose to change. Thats not the same as rebranding. Gerakan has become more vocal, in voicing the concerns of the non-malay communties. MCA top two leaders have voiced their intention to resign and give way for new faces. Umno is going through difficult times with calls for Abdullah to step dowm emerging. That leaves the MIc who is busy rebranding. That alludes logic Punithan. Drastic results as that suffered in March, needs drastic action. But we are not taking the drastic action. We are in the same old rut. Which is to refurbish offices and to rebrand. How is that goin to attact the community. The Indian community especiallt Youths, have now been enlightened by the Internet. You can't pay lip service anymore. They want results and results is what they should get.
