It is just fabulous that we Indians attack each other and call each other the P-word with such utter delight. But I cannot help wondering why you seem so pro-MIC and then blog as a Hindraf enthusiast. I am not as industrious as you so claim to be, being a medical student and all but I have 20 odd years teaching wanabee doctors such as you. You must be one lucky Indian to love your country this much and have such immense pride in being Malaysian. I for one never have had such misgivings as I have been and still am treated like a third-class 'P'. Seriously, with all sincerity and the pride you seem to hold for your parents...tell me this...What has MIC or your dear "Semi-Value" done for Indians? Forget the bull about Tamil schools and temples and our childrens' education. When I once had the stupidity to apply for a student loan at MIC, I was refused as my parents then had no money to donate to an MIC 'fund'. I was told that as a girl, I did not fit into the category of 'Bollywood-like' belly-shaking nymphos...Well...let's not get into that. So young man, while I laud you for your brilliance and young wisdom, I DO NOT salute you for the lies and propaganda you blog on for your masters. Be a true doctor and heal wounds...don't poke into old ones and insult the intelligence and wisdom of true Indians. oh What have I done to serve Indians?...I teach them to read, count and write. What have you done but blog? Oh I forgot, your're a student still. Hence no time to serve and be of use as yet. I can only sigh that teachers like me taught you and failed. Before you retort with ugliness and insults, be a true Indian and remember to respect 'mata, pita and guru'!!!

It is definately sad to know such people with such low ethics exist amongst us.
I somehow see it as a blessing as your reply to the post was very positive and not otherwise. It only shows the maturity of thinking within you.
Keep writing as that will not only educate what MIC is today to our community but it also educates other readers on what kind of people back this party up, unlike some who are ill-mannered. I REST MY CASE!
They just fail to understand that people like us don't benefit a cent but its just our trust, confidence and sincere thoughts of giving back to the community which keeps us going.

I do not recall calling anyone any vile names but you see fit to call me 'scumbag'and 'idiot'. Just as it is your right to comment, I hold on tomy right. At least Punithan showed some respect. I thank you for that. BTW...I ain't a 'sir'...just a woman like your moms and sisters. Sigh...anyway, hope you make the nation proud. I regret posting on your blog as i sincerely believe I don't deserve the scumbag title. Yeah...such disrespect always hurts just as it hurt you when another blogger called you names. I sigh again that this nation is filling to the brim with disrespectful people who hold not within them even a minute sense of the rich heritage of the Indian culture they so vainly and embarrasingly 'champion' on their blogs and posts.

I share your honest and well articulated views.I also symphatize with many good poor Indian students who have been denied study loans just like you.I did come across many such cases.I vowed to myself once ,that after my studies I will see that I help at least one such student as part of my contribution to the Indian society.And I am proud to say that I did,and saw that person go through uni.Why I did that was,I went through a hard time too during my uni days,coming from an ordinary family,I had to work to save money before I could continue my education.I just hate to see a deserving student being denied the right to education just because of poverty.
The problem with the Indians esp with the well educated and the well to do ones is that most of these people are ready to criticize others but they never make an attempt to help any one.This lack of comradeship and unity is our downfall.The political nature of the Indians had further eroded our standing in society.As long as the Indians refuse to decipher the above facts and stop bickering our society will be doomed.I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

1st on why i dint aprove your earlier comments. Because i find it rather personal ( not constructive) . Maybe your intentions was good. But You have touched on "somethings" that i cant tolerate.
I am open for critics dr. As i believe it will help me build my character and mold me into a better person.
i am not a politician. I am not even a member of any political party.
I believe i did serve my duty well as a good son and a medical student. ( actually i have accomplished my course and waiting for my graduation, 8th nov 2008)
